I'm a mom of three great kids and I had the pleasure of taking care of an elderly gentleman for a year. He was 99 and lived by himself. I went to his home for a few hours a day to help him with his needs. I helped him with his medications, drove him to the market and doctor's appointments, light housekeeping and cooking. We had a wonderful relationship and I really enjoyed the work. I've had three other clients since and have stellar references from all of my families. What sets me apart from the average caregiver is my extensive training in customer service. I worked in high end retail for 15 years and became very comfortable chatting with customers from all over. I really get to know my clients desires and interests and do everything I can to make the time together seem like an afternoon with a friend or family member.

My mother has been so fortunate to have Amy as her companion for a year and a half. Amy is a compassionate and attentive aide for Mom. Throughout my mother s battle with Acute Leukemia, Amy took Mom to her treatments and provided encouragement. When appointments shifted or ran late, Amy adjusted her schedule to ensure Mom received the care she needed. Amy also ensured Mom had interactions every day. She would get Mom out for a walk and they would visit with neighbors. She would often plan little social events in the building to celebrate Mom s birthday or a holiday. Amy s honesty and integrity made Mom comfortable with having Amy in her home. At one point, Mom had left a large sum of money around the house. Amy made sure to connect us immediately and asked what she should do to keep it safe. I highly recommend Amy has a caregiver. She tried to make each day a positive day for Mom. Given her diagnosis, that was not an easy task.
