About Amy

My name is Amy, and I have been living here in DC for 8 years now. As a licensed social worker, I absolutely love children and enjoy the privilege of learning alongside them & building resiliency in our future generation. I have over 12 years of experience working with all ages from newborns to 18-year-olds in a variety of contexts between my clients, neighbors, and my own extended family. With my education & experience, I understand the importance of age appropriate learning and developmental milestones to create an environment fueling curiosity, growth, & empowerment. Whether you're looking for a date night or a regular sitter to help with homework, I'm happy to help. Outside of working with people, I love exploring nature, rock climbing, reading, and hanging out with my 2 cats! I believe children need many positive support systems in their life, and I would be delighted to be one for your child(ren)! I look forward to working together.
