About Amy

Hello, my name is Amy! I am a nanny and teaching artist with 16 years of experience working for Bay Area and NYC families. I grew up in San Francisco and have had the joy of continuing to nanny infants and children as I pursue a career in art education. I am versatile, and am happy to work in various capacities to fit each family's needs (meal prep, school drop-offs/pick-ups, bed-time, errand runs, art workshops, tutoring/mentoring, nature outings, museum visits, etc.) My journey as a nanny has been incredibly inspiring. I bring compassion, presence, humor, and creativity to my work. I employ art, dance, music, and nature excursions as mediums for expression and growth. I am currently a part-time art workshop instructor at The Berkeley Art Museum Pacific Film Archive where I program and host art workshops in a drop-in studio space for all ages. I am a registered yoga teacher, am learning how to weave, and love to draw and dance. My purpose is to build community through art.
