About Amie

I have two years of professional classroom experience as an academic writing instructor with college freshman, working in one on one conference sessions in addition to formal classroom instruction. My curriculum experience includes teaching grammar and format in addition to crafting an argument. I specialize in teaching high school and college students how to structure academic writing, develop a functional writing process, and analyze source texts. I also have significant experience with creative writing and literature and am available to work with clients on literature homework, admissions essays, and SAT/ACT prep.
