About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda. I'm a mother of 3 (2 with special needs) and a special education teacher. I work in a self-contained cognitive impairment program with students with intellectual disabilities, Autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, ADHD, and more. I have previous experience in general education and resource room; providing intervention for students who need extra support. I have experience working with children of all ages and have many resources to share after about a decade in the field of education. I'm friendly and high-energy! I can work with you and your child(ren) to find engaging ways to learn new material.
