I have been a para-professional for the past 24 years. Currently I work with a visually impared student. I have two certificates in UEB braille as well as transcribing braille. I have experience in both lower elementary and middle school working with children who have special needs. I have worked with children who have ADD/ADHD, cognitive impairments, emotional impairments, as well as children with speech impairments and with children who have learning disabilities. I also have experience working with children who have English as a second language and children in general education.

Nancy is a close family friend of mine. She is naturally good with children. Kids always seem to warm up to her very fast and want to be buddies with her. I have shadowed in her classroom and know her to be professional, protective, and genuinely fun with kids. I would recommend her to everyone!
