I'd describe myself as compassionate, patient, & dependable. I like tutoring because it allows for personalized learning plans & tracking specific skills that need to be worked on compared to classroom settings with 20+ kids. I will consider different learning styles to make it fun for them so they can be excited to keep learning! I'm looking for a job that is consistent & will allow me to see how the kiddo has grown over our time together! I started tutoring in February after a parent asked me to support her kid in ways she couldn't. He was struggling with reading & writing as a Spanish speaker. I am a substitute teacher & frequently go back to specific schools. I've grown to working with five kids & expanding to include tutoring time for math. In my free time, I love being outside: trails, picnics, swimming, etc. I also love concerts; experiencing music live is my favorite thing! My skills include empathy, active listening, & motivational skills! I can tutor for english & math.
