About Allison

Experienced early childhood teacher/nanny looking for a part time or full time position. I spent two years at Ohio University (majoring in Early Childhood Ed with a minor in historical lit), in Athens Ohio, my hometown. I also attended Washtenaw Community College and Eastern Michigan University. I worked for 6 1/2 years working as an assistant turned lead preschool/toddler teacher in Ann Arbor, as well as experience in Montessori classrooms. I have previous nannying/babysitting and working with kids of various ages and personalities-I love them all! I have worked with infants to middle schoolers. I have a bubbly and loving personality and think it is very important to interact with kids and form a genuine close relationship with the entire family. I love spending time outdoors, reading, arts and crafts, and cooking together. I also love pets and cleaning. I am CPR/first aid certified and EpiPen trained.
