About Ali

Hi! My name is Ali (pronounced like Ollie). I have worked with children professionally for almost five years! In having the roles of sister, aunt, children's support group facilitator, school shadow, therapy practicum student, and behavior therapist I have worked with children with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, behavioral outbursts, anxiety, and depression among other diagnoses and circumstances. Life skills such as preparing food, potty training, handwashing, brushing teeth, showering, dressing, general safety, and completing chores are all things with which I have helped children do as independently as appropriate for their age and ability level. I have aided in teaching skills such as fine and gross motor, emotional regulation, functional communication (including communication for nonverbal children), and academics. I look forward to finding a family who could use another member in their village to see if I could be a good match for your family's needs!
