About Alexis

I worked as a summer school literacy aide in an elementary school classroom for three years, and I have experience with special needs children in a classroom setting. I have been babysitting for 5 years, and have had experience from infants to middle-school-age children. I worked as a day-camp counselor and was an assistant teacher at the Longwood Medical Child Care Centre in Boston. I have experience in coaching volleyball with athletes of various ages. Prior to moving to a pre-graduate major, I studied Secondary Education, so I am very knowledgeable when it comes to child development. I love kids and have worked with them since I got my first job when I was 15, and through my years of experience this love has only grown. I've been a full-time nanny the past two years, and am also a high school volleyball coach.
