About Alexis

I first started babysitting the children around my neighborhood when I was about 10 years old. I've taken child development courses that taught me a lot about behavior, stages of development, what to expect and the proper ways of care giving. I have worked in a drop off day care and was responsible for watching up to 20 children single handedly. I was in charge of reading them stories, making lunch, keeping them safe, occupied, entertained and out of trouble. As well as maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. I have also worked at a children's indoor play facility in which I came up with ways to encourage kids to have fun and burn off all that energy they have! Such as playing games, coming up with new daily activities or instructing an arts and crafts class. In addition I have experience hosting children's birthday parties for ages 5-11!
