About Michele

I have been working with and caring for children for years and I absolutely love it. I have over 5 years of babysitting experience, having cared for kids from 2 months to 11 years old. I also took 2 years of Child Development courses that included working with and teaching a class of 3-5-year-olds and learning about childcare and development. I volunteered in a program to tutor and mentor 5th grade kids at an elementary school -- giving me more experience working with older children. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and can do anything from bottles and diapers with babies to assisting older kids with homework and play. I like to have fun with the kids I babysit in a safe and responsible way and I enjoy getting them involved with reading, crafts, and outdoor activities. I'm very open and friendly and always try to be receptive to their needs but I am also good at sticking to a routine or schedule in order to maintain a sense of stability for the kids I work with.
