I am a semi-retired former boutique owner from Massachusetts. After selling my business and divorcing I moved to S. Florida in 2007. I have worked a series of positions in catering, cleaning and care giving. At my age I have an increased awareness of the challenges facing the elderly and their daily needs. I took care of my mother who suffered from mascular degeneration and dementia till her death two years ago. I kept her in my home until I could no longer safely do so. Regretfully I placed her in a nursing home till she passed 6 months later. I feel passionate about keeping people in their homes until no longer possible. I am a caring, trustworthy, upbeat person looking to work with loving families who want the same.
