About Alexandra

Hi I'm Allie! I am a mom of two toddlers! I have an associate degree in business, a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and currently a senior in my master program for Early childhood education. I was also the Aquatics Director at Groton Parks and Recreation Department, where I managed the aquatic activities, staff, and programs, providing technical expertise, instructor training, and direction. I supervise and oversee the program registration, design, and implementation of various swim programs, ensuring quality and safety standards. I also was a Program Facilitator at Girl Scouts of Connecticut, where I deliver community-based programming to girls in grades K-12 through virtual, hybrid, and/or in-person formats. I am passionate about providing Girl Scout program opportunities to underserved communities, especially in New London. I have successfully implemented and facilitated multiple programs that foster leadership, confidence, and empowerment among the participants.
