My experience started when I was a little younger. I had a great uncle in my moms side whom suffered from a few things such as hearing loss, memory, as well as trouble getting around. He used a walker and went very slowly. I started staying with him and helping prepare meals, starting baths, running errands and such. I then picked up a housekeeping job closer to college which ended up being a part time caregiver position for the elderly couple in Avoca. I also loved with my grandmother for 6 years until she passed to help her get around.
