About Alexa

I am an energetic caregiver with almost 20 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks-13 years in a wide range of environments, including as a private nanny and as an infant and preschool teacher. I have an Associates Degree in Child Development, along with 57 ECE units, am CPR and First Aid certified, and absolutely love what I do. I am looking for a wonderful family where I can provide positive, responsive attention to children. I hope to be able to collaborate with parents to find the best approaches to meet the needs of their amazing children. I love the outdoors, art, literature, all kinds of games and sports, and all things living, and I especially enjoy sharing these passions with others. I am a life-long learner who feels that everyday can be a day for exploration and adventure! I am looking for both a full time long term nanny position and also separately available for babysitting!! I have excellent references and was with my last family for 7 years!
