I have always been passionate about the elderly and the young. These members of our society are the most vulnerable. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a nurse but circumstances prevented me from being one. I believe this is my time now to give back and I also believe that in their last years of life with us, it should be given to them with dignity and the greatest care I can possibly provide. I am proud to say that I have been serving the elderly for 10 plus years in some instances in supervisory role. The elderly and young are my heart and soul.

Akisi took care of my mom who had Alzheimer's, arthritis, very old and was completely bed-ridden. First thing I noticed was Akisi's gentleness nature with my mom, who was very hard to handle. Within a couple of days, my mom did not want any one of us touching her or cleaning her (adult diapers) or wiping her except for Akisi. I found her to be honest and extremely kind. She went beyond her care duties for my mom. She cooked for her, cleaned for her, everything! Our family misses Akisi after mom passed away. I wish her all the success in life!
