I've been a part-time babysitter and full-time nanny on and off 8 years. I love working with kids! I've cared for infants to pre-teen aged kids as well as for families as large as five. In my last job, I was a full-time nanny to a 3-year-old girl with and assisted as she completed online pre-school. Additionally, I was a dance substitute and assistant teacher for six years, teaching kids ages 3-13. I also worked at a DC elementary school as an assistant teacher for a healthy eating, gardening, and sustainability program, for one year. I'm currently looking for occasional night or weekend babysitting gigs.

Abbie is wonderful! She was incredible with both our kids, but we hired her specifically for her experience with special needs children. She was fantastic with our nonverbal, disabled boy, and an excellent caretaker to our little girl. She really anticipated both of their needs, she was playful and gentle and really wonderful. Our guy can be an impulsive, and she dealt with him patiently and respectfully. I'm so thrilled to have her in the area.
