About Abby

Hi! I am the oldest sibling in my family, my sisters are 7 and 9 years old. Since they were born, I have been the built in babysitter and it is my favorite thing to do. I have worked in multiple childcare facilities and I have a special place in my heart for kids. I believe that it is so important for kids to have good role models in their lives because the kids of today are the future. My goal when working with kids is to always make sure that they feel like they can always have someone to talk to if they're feeling a certain way. I also make it a priority to do fun crafts and games! I have worked with kids for about two years now, but before working with kids, I would volunteer at summer camps and at my church. I would say that my child care strengths would include being a good listener to the children and parents, adapting wherever need be to ensure the child's happiness and safety, and I am very patient.
