About Abbie

I am an experienced care taker with years of paid and non paid experience. I have four disabled siblings all younger. For years I worked at a respite camp for children and adults who need assistance with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting. I spent a year as a special Education Preschool teacher during undergraduate study as well. I take great pride in my work and my ability to foster relationships with those I serve. Individuals with disabilities are individuals first and deserve to be treated with the same level of empathy, kindness and light hearted compassion that the rest of us do.
