Caregivers who recently joined:
Growing up with three younger siblings, I took a natural knack to caring for children from a young age, and since then have gained wonderful experiences through other babysitting jobs. I started babysitting and being a mother's helper for two different families of 3 and 4 children when I was 12 years old, and had to learn how to keep different ages of children occupied. In high school, I worked a restaurant job and did not return to babysitting until age 17 in the summer when I started watching 5 children under the age of 8 every other day, which I also did last summer too. During that time period, I had to think on my feet to keep the children's activity and creativity level high, settle disputes, I organized fun crafts for us to do, and shared my passion for playing music. In addition to that family, last summer I also babysat an active 2-year-old boy who did not talk and I had to come up with engaging activities to help him develop.

Fun With A Purpose
Hello everyone, My name is Ayanna. I'm currently 21 years old finishing up a bachelors degree in legal studies and community youth development at Nazareth College. I am interested in being a nanny because it will allow me to still focus on school but still be able to interact with youth which is my over all passion. Seeing that I am a CYD Major, I have the skill set of engaging with those from many different backgrounds as well as knowledge on social emotional learning and the whole person perspective . I also have experience engaging with those who have special needs. Fun with a purpose is what I'm all about. I am CPR and First aid certified.
