D is a sweet young lady with multiple disabilities including limited mobility and developmental delays. She can walk with help but uses a wheelchair outside the home. She cannot speak but can use other methods for basic communication. She has continence problems. This position involves helping with all daily activities including bathing, dressing, cooking/eating, taking medications, laundry, light housework, shopping, etc. The position involves taking her on shopping trips and other locations outside the home as well as at home activities such as tv, music, movies, and others as appropriate. The caregiver needs to have her own car to assist D. TIME NEEDS: 8 hours per week. Day of the week is flexible. Usual time shift is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays. 8 a.m. to noon on weekends.
