D is a sweet young lady with multiple disabilities including limited mobility and developmental delays. She can walk with help but uses a wheelchair outside the home. She cannot speak but can use other methods for basic communication. She has continence problems. This position involves helping with all daily activities including bathing, dressing, cooking/eating, taking medications, laundry, light housework, shopping, etc. The position involves taking her on shopping trips and other locations outside the home as well as at home activities such as tv, music, movies, and others as appropriate. The caregiver needs to have her own car to assist D . TIME NEEDS: 4 to 8 hours per week. Day of the week is flexible. Usual time shift is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Hello! I am looking for a fun, young helper who is a caregiver, AND a friend! I am mentally a "typical" 20 yr old girl; only physically challenged. I ride in a wheelchair and use an iPad to speak. I like exercising, texting friends, learning about new apps, composing and producing music & occasionally going to movies or Target. I love music. My favorite band. I have cerebral palsy. I can't control my muscles well. I need 100% help with daily care. My 2 awesome sisters help too but they are now back at college. I have another part-time caregiver, I am just looking for a little more help and want someone closer to my age. :) I need help Mondays and Thursdays 8:30-4:30, Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30-4:30 OR 1:30-10:30 p.m. Hours and days are flexible so don't be afraid to reach out and ask about different hours.

Actual hours are flexible - can work with your availability, whichever days work, and can give hours on weekends too. I'm looking for someone to work part-time during the week (12-20 hours?) Seeking a caregiver and companion for my 18-year-old son. He is verbal and can take care of his own personal hygiene needs. Mainly need supervision and someone who can help him work on goals. Would like someone who can take him out in the community but we can start at home until comfortable.

My son has special needs. He is developmentally delayed and eats through a feeding tube. We need a babysitter that has prior experience with G-tubes or feels comfortable being trained on how to use one. He currently has occupational and physical therapy to help him become more physically independent. He loves his bouncer, rolling on the ground, and making music! He is the happiest, most affectionate baby boy and loves to laugh!

I need full time or part time (job share with another provider). I'm looking for someone fun, safe, and patient to help my 25YO daughter who has Down Syndrome with daily living skills. Help her with daily chores such as cleaning her room, making her bed, and organizing her stuff. Must have skills to divert attention. She will need help with preparing a menu and grocery list along with grocery shopping and cooking. Simple meals she could make. Some self-care help such as trimming/file/painting nails. Appropriate behavior with strangers. The job entails helping my daughter learn independent skills and getting her out in the community. I need someone who is active. She loves to go on a daily walk, music, swimming, and dancing. She needs someone to be a friend. The goal is to help her be as independent as she can be. FT or I can work with 2-part timers.

This job is for watching 4 of our kids who need supervision while my wife and I work on other tasks in the home. We have other kids in the house that will not be part of your responsibility. The ages of the 4 kids are 9, 10, 11, 12. The 10, 11 and 12-year-olds have special needs in that they have intellectual deficiencies and are more like young school-age kids. They don't require any assistance in the bathroom or eating. They are just slower. The kids love to swim play puzzles and games. They also like to play baseball in the front yard and pretend dress up. The kids like to swim outside a lot. So there is a requirement to be outside watching them or swimming with them. We have a medium size dog that is very friendly and likes to people. We also have three cats with very personalities and mostly keep themselves.

My boy is Autism spectrum disorders and is ADHD. Well behaved just need supervision and a little help around the house.

Experience with special needs is preferred. My 20-year-old son has special needs and he's about the size of a 14-year-old. He's in the autism spectrum and he's not aggressive.
