Mother of 5 looking for someone to hang with and entertain 8-year-old, sweet ASD daughter, so I can tend to other kids and their activities as needed. I'm looking for a trustworthy, reliable someone to be my "right hand" and help out and provide some much needed respite and relief! Must be comfortable with Special Needs, Autism-specific behaviors, and can handle and diffuse situations when she engages and gets agitated. She is verbal, artistic, loves science and to swim and has a sweet disposition and good sense of humor. Must be fun, but also know when to be firm and have boundaries. Additional needs include meal prep, someone who is able to help keep things clean and tidy up as needed and has a reliable car. 16-24 hours a week, a few week nights in the evening and Saturday days a must, possibly some Sundays, willing to be flexible and work with the right person. The right fit will also feel comfortable with the other kiddos in the house, siblings are ages 18 (away at college), 7, 4 and 1. Family Age Groups: Youth.
