Hello, My Name is Ariam, I'm 23 years old. I started to be a mothers' helper when I was 12 years of age. My first experience was babysitting for my neighbors and family friends occasionally. As for right now I'm working part-time for a twin-toddler family. I also grew up with a big family that also includes many young cousins that range between the ages 2-10yo. As an only child of a single parent I learned at a young age to be very responsible and independent, and because of that I've become experienced in duties such as light housekeeping as well as cooking and baking. I personally enjoy outside activities like going to the park, skating, playing Frisbee and ball games moreover I like inside activities like reading books, drawing mandalas and playing board games. I moved to Seattle from Germany. I'm fluent in German, English and Tigrinya. It would be a pleasure to teach German to your children, if preferred. I'm very comfortable working with pets since I have a dog of my own.

Babysitter/ Pet Sitter
Avg response < 1 hrs
I love working with kids! During the summer I get the opportunity to coach soccer to young children of all ages and skill level. I work at soccer summer camps where I teach kids for about six hours and love every moment of it. I also had the opportunity to volunteer in my church kid's ministry. Some days I worked at teaching the youth and some days I would babysit them while their parents went into the sermon. I play for Seattle University's Women's Soccer team and we do many events that work with kids. I've babysat two families through Care. com. There has never been a dull moment working with kids. I truly enjoy it. I also have lots of experience with pets. I've grown up with a black lab/spring spaniel and 2 cats. I babysat an 8-month-old German pointer and an older toy fox terrier. I'm also a very active person and love to walk and play with animals. I've taken many animal science classes in high school as I had originally planned to go to Vet School. I absolutely love animals.

Hello! My name is Ty. I have been working children for the past five years. In and out of childcare. I volunteered with kids and in Hospitals in Africa in 2013 for 6 months after volunteering in a kindergarten classroom for a class I was taking for nine months. After Africa, in 2014 I started working as a Preschool Assistant teacher with a company called Tiny Tots who paid for me to finish my two-year degree in early childhood education. I began taking care of my Grandfather and working as a Part-Time Nanny in 2015 before I moved to Germany in 2016 to Au Pair, work with refugees, and study the language. I returned to Seattle in 2017 to Nanny, volunteer as a Human Rights Activists (with Working Washington and the Domestic Workers Alliance), and focus on my Entertainment career. I perform locally with my band and am a professional dancer. I have experience teaching children to play instruments and I love the outdoors! I also have experience doing read-aloud stories at libraries.

I'm The Nanny Your Looking For!

I have been working with children since I was old enough to consider someone younger than me, a "child." At 12 years old, I began babysitting for a few families in my neighborhood. Word-of-mouth and references helped me get my first nanny position at the onset of my undergraduate education. It's been (a little more than) 10 years since then, and I'm incredibly grateful for the families and children I've been allowed to help raise, to watch grow-up, and to build lasting relationships with. In addition to being a nanny, I have 11 summers of residential camp experience where I have played with, created activities for, and mentored hundreds of school-age and teen boys and girls. As a camp counselor, I can get 12 children up and ready for their day all at once, spend 15 hours planning, playing, and singing and then get those same 12 children to bed at the end of the day. I enjoy long days and lots of activity. Those summers, combined with my experience working with foster kids in group homes and at visitation centers has lead me to my long-term goal of starting a non-profit camp for low-income and foster youth, so that every child has the opportunity to spend a week in the outdoors. I have experience with infants, toddlers, children with special needs, multiples, nanny-share, and siblings spanning multiples ages. I have spent hours crawling around on the floor with little ones and reading, chatting with, and playing board games or soccer with older ones. I can multitask endlessly: running errands, managing laundry, play-dates, sports practices, dinner prep, homework help, and always remember to make time for a snack and "tell me about your day." Whatever your needs, I'm happy to work with you to ensure your family is supported in every way that makes home-life better. After graduating from college in 2008 I have worked from 30-50 hours a week as a nanny, educator, or childcare care provider. In addition to being a nanny, I have tutored and mentored in elementary and high school classrooms, was a teacher in South Korea, and volunteered in Head Start classrooms with toddlers. I am a dedicated professional who likes to get outside everyday, whether it's for a walk to the park, a side-walk chalk extravaganza right outside the house, or a variety of fun activities the kids can enjoy. It's important to me to encourage kids to be respectful, responsible and creative. I love crafts, books, and baking cookies. I'm so excited about the families and kids I've met since I moved back here and for all that is ahead in the up-coming months! If you have any questions or a spot on your calendar you'd like filled, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Creative - Fun-Loving Nanny
I have done many jobs caring for children. I have 5 nieces and 2 nephews who I've taken care of many times. I have experience in taking care of children from newborn to 14 years old. I teach ballet and art lessons. I love taking care of children. I love everything creative. I have a passion for cooking and eating healthy. I'm a vegan and I also eat gluten-free foods. I have some food allergies. So I have lots of experience in cooking for people with food allergies. I studied health and nutrition in college as well as art and dance. I know a little bit of the German language. I prefer not to nanny in homes with dogs, as I'm pretty allergic to them. I prefer to work for a family in downtown Seattle or Alki. I currently live in Alki.

Hello! My name is Alexis. I'm 23 years old, keen on supervising children, and helping out in any way possible to make things easier on you. I currently get around using public transport, but I do have a license on its way. I love to play with and get to know this generation's children; they are so different and creative it makes caring for them an enjoyable, learning experience. I have two younger siblings, currently 14 and 11. I have babysat them over a handful of times throughout the years of their upbringing, as well as neighbor's and family member's children. I have also been a live-in nanny a few times, as well as an Au Pair in England for 6 months. I enjoy coloring, playing dress up, doing arts and crafts, reading, hide and seek, learning, singing, dance parties, and whatever else the little ones like to do. Feel free to message me! Thanks.

Part Time/Full-Time Experienced Caregiver Available

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I have been working with children in varying capacities for over 10 years. I've worked as a camp counselor, camp site director, behavioral therapist, and nanny. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborns through teenagers. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and have taken multiple courses in child development. I've done part-time babysitting as well as full-time nannying for multiple families around the Seattle area, and my favorite age group to work with is infants and young toddlers.
