I've been working at a middle school is special ed for 7 years as a special education teacher assistant. I love my job. I treat all the kids whether they are special needs or not the same. I treat them with the love and respect I would want my child to have. I worked with adults with disabilities for 6 years before taking the job at the school. My students are my kids. I've seen students come in and completely hate school before I've had them. then by the time they go to high school, they are wanting me to move to the high school with them.
