Hey future employers:) I am a college student studying Special Education and Communications at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. On summer and winter breaks I work at Kings Daughters School, Center for Autism. I have worked there for over an year, following several months of volunteering. I have learned and worked with a lot of different developmental and cognitive disabilities and feel extremely confident in my abilities. I have also babysat a child with a heart condition and speech impediment for 6 years. I am CPR, First Aid, and Handle with Care certified. I can help with school work, play time, meal time, bathroom needs, etc. I have a safe car and am willing to pick up from school, take to appointments, and meeting family members. I absolutely love helping others and learning new things. I am very willing to learn and abide specific rules.
