I am a care giver to a 22-year-old girl with down syndrome on Saturdays and Sundays. My family also has a close family friend with a son with down syndrome. A lot of the time he needed someone to stay with him while his longer was at work. A lot of the time I would take care of him until his mother came home. She never had any complaints and I bonded very well with him. My 8-year-old nephew also has ADHD and I have often taken care of him as well. I have my own car and license. I am very energetic but can also be very relaxed depending on the child i'm working with. I am currently on a weight loss journey and go to the gym 6 days a week. I am very open to outdoorsy kids who want to go on bike rides, go swimming, etc. However I have no problems with kids who prefer indoors!
