About Zakiyyah

I started working with kids when I was a Junior in High school. I worked at a Daycare & I absolutely loved it! Seeing kids smile, laugh & learn is always a joy to see! I've been around kids my whole life, my 3 younger siblings always needed babysitting & I was always there to babysit them and I loved it. My skills include Patience, Problem-Solving and Compassion. I am a very patient individual, even friends would tell you the same. Children learn & develop at different levels and learning environments and situations can change frequently, which is okay. Being very understanding plays a big part in me being patient as well. I am a problem solver/critical thinker & I'm always thinking ahead, I honestly feel like that's what gets me far. And also having compassion has always been a trait that I've always had, caring & seeking out resources to improve the quality of care that I give.
