About Zahara

Hi! My name is Zahara. I have a passion for childcare and early childhood development. I am a very active, outgoing, and bubbly person. In my spare time I like to crochet, read, and go on walks. I worked as a live-in nanny for 13 months and have completed coursework in early childhood/elementary education. I am still continuing my education to get my degree in elementary education with an ESOL and ESE endorsement. As a live-in nanny I travelled with the family numerous times both domestically and internationally. Some of my responsibilities were to - care for child between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - cleaning - cooking - direct baby-led weaning - morning and night baths - nursery upkeep - creating developmentally appropriate activities - assist mother during her time on maternity leave - assist with transfer from nursing to bottle feeding - getting child ready for daycare - laundry - organize baby's wardrobe for the different seasons - recommending parent-child exercises/activities - swimming
