About Yvonne

I am a joyful and energetic woman, and former Elementary Music teacher. My most recent criminal records check was in Sept, 2018 for my volunteer work as a literacy tutor. My first nanny job after retiring 8 years ago was for my grandson who lives in Canada. After spending 6 months with him, I decided I wanted to take care of little ones on a part-time basis. Since then I have enjoyed caring for children from two different families. I was with my last family for 4 years, but since the 5-year-old boy started kindergarten in the fall, my time with that family ended in August. I get attached to my little charges and have stayed in touch with the families with whom I have worked. I love singing, reading, doing preschool and school activities, playing games, and outdoor activities with children. I also enjoy preparing nutritious meals. I'm interested in working 1 full day or 2 afternoons-evenings, and occasional weekend time. If my description meets your needs, I would love to meet you!
