About Ydalmi

I started working with kids when I became a swimming instructor. Swimming is so fun and a valuable skill for life. Being able to gently guide kids through their fear of water and introduce water through play and fun, while watching them progress was a highlight of my life for a long time! In my spare time, I like to swim a lot. Swimming is one of my biggest passions and it brings a lot of peace and clarity to my mind. One thing you should know about me is I am a cardiothoracic surgery nurse (adults) and although I am passionate about the work that I currently do, I do enjoy working with children aside from my regular job and am in the process on transitioning to a NICU nurse for the future. My skills include many skills within gentle/conscious parenting and guidance branch, ability to communicate and recenter children, and the ability to multitask and manage to ensure safety and also fun!
