I'm 39, can drive, have a car, and insured. 5 years sober, can pass any record check. I'm very familiar with almost every mental health issue there is, due to personal experience in recovery. I'm great with LGBTQ+ issues (identify as gay) and great youth undergoing transitioning, gender dysphoria issues. I'm very active in my recovery and have been working with substance treatment facilities for two years. I'm very into working out, and have recovered from an overeating disorder, and have lost over 120lbs. I'm great at motivating a client and establishing boundaries and sticking with them. I'm great with planning meals and helping a client learn to cook. I'm able to do art therapy with them, and keep clients busy with developmental activities. I can provide multiple references from people I've worked with/known me for 10-15 I'm ideally looking for an opportunity to work with a client Friday-Monday, or nights during the week.
