About Whitney

Hi! My name is Whitney and I've lived in the D. C. area for almost 3 years. I have over a decade of experience working with kids and I am starting an MA in child and adolescent development in the Fall of 2019. I currently work full time and am only available for weeknight or weekend babysitting. In 2018, I nannied in DC for a high profile family with 4 kids (ages 0-12) and traveled with them in the summer. In undergrad, I worked as a part time nanny for 3 kids in Manhattan Beach (ages 3-8). In high school, I worked three summers at a summer camp where I coached volleyball and supervised a cabin of 10-12 elementary-aged girls. As the oldest of four in my family, I have years of experience from babysitting my own siblings and the kids of family friends. I speak proficient Spanish and am CPR certified.
