About Whitney

I have 5 years of experience of caring for my own two boys. (4 & 2 yo). I'm looking to watch your kiddos along with mine-either at my house on 5 acres (with a park!) or at your residence. I follow a hands on, no-screen, play-based, emotional-connection oriented style of parenting/nannying. I'm all about letting the children learn through play, healthy conflict, and mostly just being outdoors. I do weekly hikes, eat whole foods , read books, crafts, and learn life skills such as cooking, baking, and anything else that is age appropriate. I'm very keen on keeping children emotionally safe-allowing them to express their needs, feel their feelings, and validate their experiences. I worked 3 summers as a camp counselor for an outdoor kids camp before having my own kiddos-and always refer back to those experiences to create an environment rich for learning. My schedule is very flexible; I'm much more concerned with finding the right fit for my family. Please reach out with any questions.
