About Whitney

I'd describe my personality as happy, upbeat and positive. I like working with kids because I love watching them learn and grow as well as teaching them new things. Children are so smart and see the world from a very different perspective than adults do. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to take the children to the park, zoo and story time at the library. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself. I grew up watching children in the nursery at church. I then moved on to babysitting various family members then friend's children. I ran an after school for a few months several years ago In my spare time, I like to read, make crafts, cook and spend time with my own children at the ball park, zoo or library. My skills include multitasking, encouraging manners, reading and teaching how to cook and make their own snacks.
