I love children, they are my passion from infants through teens. I am friendly, loving, caring, and outgoing. Most children usually gravitate towards me and feel very comfortable with me in a short amount of time. I have been a foster mother, and am now a full time, special education supervisor and have been for about 10 years. I have worked with many different types of disabilities including Autism, bi-polar disorder, cerebral palsy, ADD/ADHD, Deafness, and various other disabilities. I have been babysitting for over 25 years and formerly owned my own home daycare. I have watched infants through teens and have no trouble watching 6 or more children at once. I plan fun trips and educational experiences. I am trained in First Aid/CPR. I speak sign language fluently. I am looking to care for children during the summer weekday afternoons and all day Friday due to my part time job teaching. Starting July 14, I will be available all day during the week and even some weekends until Aug 7.

Wendy showed up a little late but that is OK do to her job. Otherwise she would have been on time. She is very qualified to work with special needs children, but was not as flexible as I needed in a sitter. At the interview I saw my son do something he never did as an autistic child. I saw him rock back and forth, so I felt he was not comfortable around her. Yet I would recommend her to anyone.
