About Wendy

Hello! A little about me: I graduated from Mid-South Christian College here in Memphis with a degree in Christian Education. I am currently working as the Co-Children's Minister with my husband. I also work with youth as the Student Recruiter for my Alma Mater and as the Events Coordinator at my complex. As a Recruiter I regularly attend camps and youth events as a counselor. That being said, I am skilled at creatively teaching and entertaining children and youth. I have had some prior experience during in college working with a young lady who had Angelman Syndrome. I would take her on fun outings and to her speech therapy occasionally. Though her behavior could be challenging at times, it was truly a pleasure to work with her. Through spending time with her I picked up a little sign-language, a great deal of patience, and a heart for kids with special needs.
