Vivien watched my 15 month old for 2 weeks while I was between childcare, and seamlessly adapted to his normal routine, which allowed me to work as if nothing had changed in our routine- amazing. I work from home, which can be hard for little ones, and she was able distract him and help him reset. He’s also a contact sleeper for most of his naps, which she accommodated without complaint - one day taking a 3 hour nap 🤯. In addition to playing well with him and using screen time judiciously, what I most appreciated was how much of a self starter she was- it would have been totally understandable if she had needed to check in when learning his schedule, but she was incredibly independent and resourceful. He had a great time - when I need childcare again I know who to call!
