About Vika

While working with children, I enjoy creating fun/educational activities and games that support proper social and emotional development. I have been working with children for over 13 years. I started as a camp counselor in my teens where I found profound joy in caring for and teaching young children. While attending college, I worked full time as a behavioral modification program assistant in a public school setting. After graduating, I began teaching 5th and 6th grade while providing behavioral support for the campuses. In my spare time I enjoy nature, drawing, painting and reading. Another thing you should know about me is that I am very mindful of family privacy, routines, and parenting styles. I love pets ( I have 5 cats and 4 dogs). I encourage outdoor activities, hands-on learning, creativity, and reading. My skills include creating fun activities, turning everyday experiences into learning opportunities, and providing nurturing individualized care.
