I am a recent graduate from Michigan State University. I have just applied to Physician Assistant Programs and will be taking a gap year before going back to school next August. Aside from numerous hours shadowing, volunteering, and working in the health-care industry, I also have experience in the academic field. I was a tutor for three years for high school students in mathematics, science, and Spanish course. I volunteered last summer assisting academically struggling students at local elementary school. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant for an upper level science course at Michigan State University. School, learning, and helping others have always been a passion of mine.
