I have a strong background in human psychology which led me to a deep study in dog psychology when my dogs started having behavioral issues and I wanted to figure out ways to help them. Dogs do not need dominance: they need to feel safe and guided. Most maladaptive behaviors from dogs arise from fear. And the way to help them is by helping them with their emotion. Help them feel safe, make new/ positive connections with things they are fearful of. I believe dogs are the ultimate lesson of unconditional love - and it's our obligation support them the best we can.
