About Veronica

I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. I served as a 3rd-grade teacher at a Catholic school in Oakland. Additionally, I was the after-school coordinator, working with students from K-8th grade, and taught summer school for two consecutive years. I initiated a book club for students in second/third grade, meeting every Saturday mornings. I have worked at a high school in Pittsburg, providing emotional support to students and assisting them in finding post-graduation opportunities. I am passionate about working with children and teens, as they require significant support and guidance during their formative years. On weekends, I offer early morning tutoring and actively support students by attending their sports games, parties, talent shows, and organizing events for them. Currently, I am a first-time mom and I am planning to open my home daycare in Oakley this September. I am dedicated, experienced, and excellent at nurturing and educating children.
