About Veronica

Hello! I am a reliable, fun, and patient person who loves working with kids. I have been babysitting occasionally since I was a teenager but have worked with kids in many settings. As a clerk in a public children's library, where I worked for several years, I supervised kids of all ages while doing educational and social programs. Some of these programs I planned myself, such as Three-Minute Science Experiments for preschoolers. In college I led an after-school literacy program for elementary schoolers. I read with, planned and executed activities for, and supervised up to 10 children at a time. I have also tutored and provided homework help to middle and high school students. In addition to childcare, I am able to help with schoolwork, prepare snacks and meals, and do some light housework.
