Hello! My name is Verda and I'm 28 years old and have a bachelors degree in Communication Disorders and pursuing a MS degree in 2021. I have worked with children in both, professional and personal settings. I have worked in child care centers with children of different age groups. I absolutely love working with babies and toddlers, and I find myself to be an effective communicator with teens as well. I am good at calming babies who are agitated and I can distract them and sometimes even reason with them, which helps them feel better. I look forward to working with your children and your family!

Verda was wonderful with our 8-month-old son. She was an extra good match for us because of her speech/language educational background, as my son had feeding issues and 2 tongue-tie releases. She took a vested interest in his progress and was willing to help with Myofascial exercises. She was with us during the summer of 2021, when she was also juggling the demands of her school schedule. She did her best to accommodate our scheduling needs, and always let me know well in advance if there was a foreseeable scheduling conflict. Would have hired her fore more hours if we could! We will definitely keep her on call for the occasional date night sitting job, in the future.
