Howdy! My name is Vashti (Dash) and I am originally from Michigan. Being the oldest child of five and having many young cousins, I have had experience caring for children all my life. Throughout my teen years I engaged in many onetime babysitting jobs and was employed as a part time nanny for a short while. After graduating high school I went over seas to work in an orphanage/children's home that missionaries from my church had established. There I cared for children ages 6 months to 12 years old until my internship was up at the end of six months. In addition, despite the lack of official hands on training, I do currently hold my Basic First Aid and Adult/Child/Infant CPR certificate from the American Life and Health Foundation.
