Hi there! Though I have never worked with a person with Alzheimer's/Dementia, I have worked with adolescent persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder that would be considered high support needs. These are neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders respectively. That being said, I have experience with feeding, bathing, toileting, medication and basic care needs for persons who need support in these areas. I have a B. S. in Psychology and am in graduate school for Counseling. I am patient, gentle and empathetic. I am looking for a job that is part time as I am working towards obtaining an M. A. in Counseling.
