About Valerie

Throughout my life, I have highly valued my experiences as a caregiver. Starting at a young age, I would volunteer with my grandmother in our local senior center or babysit for families at my church. By high school, I was working in an assisted living facility, preparing and serving meals. Now that I've completed my first bachelor's degree and am certified as a nursing assistant, I've advanced to caring for individuals in my community. I completed a certificate in mental health for the older adult allowing me to better care for individuals with dementia or other issues related to aging. I understand the importance of health, happiness and safety in the home. I'm a certified medication manager, have a high attention to detail and know how important accuracy is when managing our loved one's care. I am also certified as a Wilderness First Responder. It is my honor to care for individuals from age 1-100.
