Hello! My name is Valerie and I would love to give you some insight into who I am! I am a Las Cruces native and I attend New Mexico State University. I am in industrial engineering; which seems a bit disconnected from babysitting, but I love to care for children. I have a few paid babysitting experiences under my belt, but I am ready to expand. I love to contribute to the growth of a child, whether it be minuscule or not. I think we have so much to learn from children as well, and being around their carefree and free spirited energy is contagious in my opinion. I love to make creative and engaging activities for kids, that can be done indoors and out! I would describe myself as patient, trustworthy, and energetic. When I am not babysitting I am weight lifting, hiking, or spending time with my family and golden retriever Milo!
