About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as creative and joyful, I like working with kids because they are honest in every situation and I love teaching them to use their imagination to create art! I'm looking for a job that will keep me on my toes, and that will not only benefit me but I really want to just help and support families in need. I started working with kids when I was very young. Growing up I was my own mother, and from the age of 12 I was taking care of my sibling, and watching my parents kids. But professionally when I was 16. In my spare time, I like to paint and sing in the shower. (Even tho I'm not that good lol!) One thing you should know about me is I'm type one diabetic, and I also plan to further my career in caregiving and healthcare. My skills include art, beginners Spanish and ASL, cooking, and people connections.
